Narnia Farm

WELCOME  Kristine Snellenburg to the Narnia Farm Staff!!

Kristine Snellenburg grew up on eastern Long Island, riding Hunter Seat Equitation and Fox Hunting. Kristine obtained a Liberal Arts degree from Pace University, with a Psychology and Equine Concentration. During her time at Pace she competed on the Equestrian team and qualified for the Intercollegiate Nationals for four consecutive years. While studying and competing, she also attended clinics with Kip Rosenthal, Carol Maloney, Michael Page and Ian Miller giving Kristine a competitive edge.

After graduating from Pace and receiving her Instructor's teaching certificate, Kristine became the Assistant Coach at Pace, competed in the Intercollegiate Alumni division and was an Adjunct Professor in the Physical Education Department. At this time, she was also competing in Ladies Hunter Side Saddle on the National level; competing at shows such as Devon, Harrisburg and the National in New York.

After finishing a heavy competition schedule, Kristine relocated to The Hampton's and taught at Stony Hill Stables and Sag Pond Farm. Kristine took clients to horse shows and one-day events, while managing the show, lessons and camp schedule. Many of Kristine's students entered the Hampton Classic and garnered ribbons. After training with Joe Fargis, Kristine received her ABRS Teaching and Management Certificates.

To further her knowledge Kristine has traveled to different parts of the world to ride, understand other horse worlds, and to experience different cultures. During her travels, Kristine lived and worked in California with Robin Keller, worked at Blue Ribbon Riding Academy with Annette Spinetti, in Las Vegas and has now landed in Eastern Tennessee where she has coached Interscholatic Equestrian Teams, broke and trained horses and taught lessons.

Narnia Farm is proud to Welcome Kristine Snellenburg.  Kristine will be offering Instruction and Training in Hunter/Jumper, Dressage, Eventing, Horsemanship, English and Western riding lessons, as well as breaking of young horses.
